Standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.6.1 - Cite textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. Do Now: See PowerPoint Whole Group: CATCH Presentation CATCH practice passage During these two activities, Mr. Williams will be presenting and students will be following along by taking notes in their notebooks. Students should be at voice level zero, tracking the board and the speaker. Collaborative: Students will be working in groups to annotate a speech from the practice interim using CATCH annotations. During this time, students should be in voice level two while working with their group. Independent: Students will work independently on a short practice test to prepare for the interim assessment.
